28/02/2011 Crosscup xc race Dour
Man of the race: Atelaw Bekele (BEL)
Thanks to his new trainer Dirk Van Kerkhoven he's performing at a steady high level.
I'am sure that we will see some nice XC battles in the future.
And Atelaw will spice up the races without any doubt.
23/01/2011 Mastboscross Breda
Man of the race: Jesper van der Wielen
This young dutch young athlete broke the Dutch record over 5000 metres in 2010.
He's always going for it, I hope he will continue to develop!
Great spirit !
19/12/2010 CrossCup Brussel
Man of the race: Sergey Lebid
After the European XC championchips that he normally wins, he starts running races like Stefan Van Den Broek. :)
He's able to outsprint sub 13' guys on 5000m at the end of a XC race, so it is an understatement that at this time of the year he's the guy to beat on heavy XC courses.
I am looking forward to the Edingburgh XC (8 jan 2011) where Lebid will face a competitive field. The only thing i regret is that they organise a second gala XC race over a 4 km distance for the Africans.

28/11/2010 Warandecross Tilburg
Man of the race: Steffen Ulliczka
Highly respected German athlete, he won the warandecross with a standout performance.
Remember this name for the future European Championchips.
11/11/2010 Course du souvenir Ploegsteert
Man of the race: GUY FAYS
Fays is capable of placing swift accelarations during a race like no one else.
I selected him because yesterday he showed again that he will manage to place as high as possible in every race he runs, even when his shape is not 100%.
It is no secret that I admire this athlete very much!
7/11/2010 Crosscup Mol
Man of the race: JEROEN D'HOEDT
He won the European junior cross country championship in 2009. Third place in CC Mol.
Jeroen is gifted with a lot of race insight, I believe he can win the CrossCup 2010-2011 this would be an incredible result because he is only 20 years old.
The odds are in his favor since Jeroen is trained by Dirk De Maesschalck, a trainer who has won the crosscup several times with two other athletes Tom Van Hooste and Pieter Desmet.
No doubt that he's the most talented young runner of our country. Only Soufiane Bouchiki and Andreas Van Ham are playing in the same league.

16/10/2010 Ekiden Brussels
Man of the race: ONESPHORE NKUZIMANA
He has a personal best of 13'07" for 5000m, so it is clear he can run really fast.
Onesphore is trained by Henri Salavarda and he has run a few years for Qatar under the name of Zaman Sultan Khamis.
Moreover, running is not his only talent because he is a very smart guy.
I believe he's capable of showing us, his special running skills during the next olympic games in London representing Burundi.
10/10/2010 Marathon Eindhoven
Man of the race: STIJN FINCIOEN
He has the physique of a Kenyan athlete, on top he is trained by a very wise coach.
Stijn has run five marathons, he ran a pr in Eindhoven with 2 h 22 '34 ".
I'm sure next year he will shake even faster times out of his Kenyan legs.
This is the way to go!
