I made the first move by covering the next km in 2' 50", Guy made the next jump and with this acceleration he launched the Kenyan Loitareng for a long solo effort. Loitareng was too strong for us.
Afterwards I ran a few km's solo in second place but I couldn't keep the distance between me and the chasing group. So we sprinted with a group of five for place 2. Mika won the battle with his fast kick at the end.
Because of the slow average speed during the race, I did an extra workout after the race in order to get ready for my next marathon.
