On the menu: three times 2800m in the forest. I got my but kicked by Dame Tasama and Tarik Moukrime. My times on the 2800m up and down in the forest were 8'27"; 8'23" and 8'27". Dame was the fastest with averaging 8'10", believe me, this is not a joke but just superfast running. The young and talented Tarik averaged a fast 8' 21". To be honest I would have run about 9 minutes on the 2800m without these two guys, this training is worth repeating. Below some pictures by our coach Henri Salavarda. Greetings Lander It 's really nice to train with a strong group. On the program an interval session of 3 times 10 min, we will meet at 9 o'clock at the Sportkot.
The sparring partners will be: Michaël Brandenbourg, Dame Tasama, Vital Gahungu, Florent Caelen and Tarik Moukrime. It's clear the training pace will be high but there is no better way to prepare a next competition. Greetings, Lander Possible? I think so (little chance). Why?
By clicking on the picture of the big favorite Wilson Kipsang (KEN) you can follow the race LIVE (next sunday at 10 am). Greetings Lander It's unlikely that you or me will be able to beat the world record on the marathon by Patrick Makau, but nevertheless we can try to run as fast as possible on the same racing shoes. Below a sneak preview of the new Adizero Adios 2012. Greetings Lander New Zealand rugby world champion 2011
Everybody of our training group is going to run this race and the training runs are going well. Last year I came in second in terrible weather conditions behind the Kenyan Geoffrey Terer, the Belgian half marathon champ Guy Gays came in as third. This year the goal is to win! Below some pics of last year. Greetings Lander Great inspiration by Meb Keflezighi, fantastic marathoner! I will try this at home. Greetings Lander
